Product Summary
The next generation of precision crawler excavators
The Kobelco SK130LC-11 is a premium 13-tonne class crawler excavator, hand-built in Japan and engineered to set the benchmark in the 12–14 tonne operating segment. Combining exceptional digging performance with outstanding fuel efficiency, refined operator comfort, and cutting-edge technology, it is the ideal machine for contractors demanding productivity, versatility, and reliability across a wide range of applications.
Engine & Performance
The SK130LC-11 is powered by an Isuzu Motors R-4JJ1XDDV-A01 turbocharged diesel engine with a 2,999cc displacement, rated at 78.5 kW (106.7 PS) at 2,000 rpm. This Stage V emissions-compliant powerplant incorporates both SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction with DEF) and DPF systems to meet the most stringent environmental standards while keeping operating costs low. Kobelco-europe
Performance highlights include a best-in-class drawbar pulling force of 141 kN and a high-rated bucket digging force of 105.4 kN. Independent travel allows the machine to move, lift, and swing simultaneously without any loss of power, while automatic swing priority delivers full swing power during combined operations — without the need to switch modes.
Dimensions & Reach
The SK130LC-11 has an operating weight of 15.5 tonnes, a track width of 600 mm, and transport dimensions of 7.81 m in length, 2.59 m in width, and 2.92 m in height. It offers a maximum digging depth of 5.98 m and a maximum horizontal reach of 8.78 m.
Hydraulic System & Attachments
The SK130LC-11 is built for versatility on complex job sites. Seven pre-set hydraulic attachment modes — including bucket, nibbler, tilt rotator, and breaker — can be accessed via the master jog-dial and on-screen selection, ensuring the correct hydraulic performance is delivered for each working task. Four additional customisable modes can be pre-set by service engineers to extend the range of hydraulic operations further. Quick Hitch hydraulic piping is fitted as standard, enabling rapid, safe tool changes on site.
Operator Environment
The SK130LC-11 features a thoroughly modern, spacious cabin with intuitive, easy-to-use operating controls. A 10-inch colour monitor — the largest in-cab visual information screen in the excavator industry — provides easily accessible and programmable menu functions, machine status information, and clear rear and right-side views from the standard-fit upper deck cameras. An LED back-lit multifunction jog-type dial serves as the access point to all monitor functions.
The cab is equipped with an ergonomic lever and a Grammer air ride suspension seat to reduce operating force and fatigue. An unfastened seatbelt indicator, along with built-in rear, left- and right-side cameras with a customisable split-screen display, enhance operator awareness and job site safety.
Safety
The SK130LC-11 features a new FOPS Level II roof guard with a swing-open door section, allowing the external roof glass to be cleaned easily for improved visibility without compromising the guard’s structural integrity.

Frequently asked questions
We can get one of our fitters out to you to replace a track. The cost to do this depends on the time to do the job and distance. Costing anywhere from £30 + VAT to a local job for a small machine up to £100 + VAT for an 8 tonne machine. Machines over 8 tonne would cost more.
We can arrange for a fitter to attend but this cost would be charged to you. The cost to repair a puncture is usually around £60 + VAT
Our machines will be delivered to you full of fuel. Your hire cost does not include fuel unless you specifically ask us to include it. You should return the machine full of fuel. If we have to refuel, we will charge you to refill the tank. Ask us about fuel bowsers for short or long-term hire contracts which will save you time and money.
We don’t usually charge if the machine receives minor scratches, but serious damage such as dents, scratches to rams, panels or other parts would, unfortunately, result in a repair bill.
We operate under the CPA terms & conditions. All customers must abide by these & it’s assumed that if you hire from us you will abide by them.
