Where we started

Founded in 2016 in Swindon, Tiger Plant began with just three kubota excavators and a clear commitment to quality service.

Fast forward nearly a decade, and we’ve grown into a trusted plant hire provider with a fleet of almost 150 machines and excavator attachments. From excavators and rollers to dumpers, forklifts and telehandlers — we supply the right equipment, at the right time, with the right support.

If you need something specific, we’re always open to sourcing additional equipment for the right client.

In Mid-2024, Tiger Plant Hire entered an exciting new chapter with a change in management and the appointment of a new Managing Director.

Shane Sherbourne joined the business with ambitious plans for growth – while preserving the 5-star customer service our clients know and trust. With the introduction of new team members and continued fleet expansion, the #TigerTeam are well versed in all things construction equipment and can help you work out what best suits the needs of your site.

We work with our clients to ensure the right size excavator arrives and can fit on site, to roll and compact as much hardcore as possible at once whilst maintaining the edges of the ground, to lift tirelessly all day every day as material deliveries are arriving and need transporting around site. We’re about making sure you have the right equipment for the job at hand, and we’ll do everything we can to meet your deadlines and time constraints.
